GTA IV San Andreas Review
Last Updated: 2014-04-02 11:40:48
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas was hands down the best Grand Theft Auto game released by Rockstar, up until Grand Theft Auto Five - who easily took the crown off of San Andreas with force. San Andreas paved the way for the future of Grand Theft Auto as Rockstar finally had a better idea of what the fans really wanted. They wanted reality. Vice City painted a crooked, yet rich and easy life. San Andreas painted a world where anyone will do anything to get an extra buck. But the graphics of San Andreas are nothing to be missed. In fact it was - as hard as it is for some to admit - one of the worst games, graphically, during its time. While it was running on a playstation 2 console, there were games with far better graphics out on the market at that time than what GTA San Andreas had to offer. But that will all change with the GTA IV San Andreas mod from the GTAIVSA Team.
GTA IV San Andreas is a mod of Grand theft Auto IV that converts everything back over to the city of San Andreas. The city looks and feels like the classic San Andreas with improved textures, faces, sounds, movement and so much more. This is what San Andreas would look like on current generation gaming systems rather than the Playstation 2 system that it was released for. The mod brings San Andreas back to its former glory and then some!
If you remember back when Grand Theft Auto IV came out on the Playstation 3, we were all very satisfied with the graphics. It was a huge step up from what we'd grown accustom to on the Playstation 2 with Grand Theft Auto Vice City, San Andreas, and Grand Theft Auto III. There were some complaints about the driving mechanics of the game. Many players thought that the cars felt very boat like - meaning that they would sway too much when your car made turns. Personally, I thought that the driving mechanics in GTA IV were fine. They were very realistic and I enjoyed them. That being said, you can expect the driving mechanics and the rest of the GTA IV nic nacs to make their presence felt in GTA IV San Andreas.
It doesn't matter if you are a novice, intermediate, or expert gamer, I urge you all to read the README file that it included in the installation. There is a lot of useful information inside of that file. For those novice PC gamers that have never used a mod, it is almost mandatory for you to read the README file included in the download. If you mess around and make the wrong mistake, it can render your entire GTA IV game unplayable and you would then have to reinstall it all over again. So have fun with that.
Don't let the above message intimidate you. Once you get it up and running it is a beauty trust me. Take a look at the screenshots above to see what you are missing.
