Flash games were like the wild west. During the time they were around, modern game design in and of itself wasn't fully fleshed out. Sure, there were a couple of soft rules, but experimentation was everywhere.  Flash games were and are the most experimental games you can play around as they don't really care what's "right" and what's "wrong". Some of the most unique games out there started out as flash games. Creeper World: Evermore proves that a good formula is more than enough to carry a game through even without a narrative.

To install Creeper World: Evermore, make sure just run the file in whatever SWF player you have. Do note that if you want to play different daily maps, you need to change your system date.

Just like the first game, you have to expand throughout the territory while fending off malicious goo to reach and power three different totems to win. There are different elevations and heights for you to consider, as liquid get blocked off by walls and flow to lower elevations easily.

What this game does differently is that it is almost fully driven by randomly generated maps that are generated daily. This is where you really notice that the main game loop is incredibly fun. Even on nondescript maps that all look the same save for terrain, you'll still find yourself addicted and making your way through these maps.

All in all, Creeper World: Evermore proves that the main formula is incredibly solid and fun.
