Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Mateusz Skutnik is one of the best creators of the genre. Less known is that he's actually part of a team - Pastel Games - and that they assisted in many of his best-known games. He in turn has contributed to their work, with one of them being the Tortuga series. Let's look at The Scene of the Crime: Golden Doll.

This game is a lot longer than the original game, thankfully, as the original game was incredibly short. This game also requires you to do a little more detective work than normal. Unfortunately, it falls into the same hurdle that many of Skutnik's other offerings give, in that it's incredibly difficult to navigate the maps. You'll find yourself waggling your cursor around the corner of the screen waiting for it to change shape so you can properly move somewhere else.

Oterwise, it's pretty much the same as every other Pastel Games offering. There are some fairly clever puzzles, but it's overall pretty easy and fairly short. Other than the hurdles already pointed out, there's nothing else to get caught up on.
