PolyPolis: Colonizing Unknown 1.0

Polypolis: Colonizing Unknown is a medieval style city building simulator that has a lot of fantastic detail put in to the houses and castles you can build giving you a completely untouched area to build your city and a castle for yourself and expand those things to as wide as possible or whatever size that you want to build your city.

It’s pretty fun to play through a couple of times however as everything is randomly generated and all you need to do is click a choice of four buttons it doesn’t feel particularly satisfying and although the game is classed as a strategy game it doesn’t really feel that way because other than choosing which of the four buttons to press and whether you’d prefer to expand the houses or castles everything after you have clicked the button is randomly generated so it doesn’t give you the same satisfaction as more detailed city building games.

Polypolis: Colonizing Unknown may appeal to younger gamers wo want to be able to build a city quickly and simply but there is no real challenge to be found here and more experienced gamers are likely to find they become bored of the game fairly quickly.
