Benchmarking is incredibly important for anybody who's into customizing their own computer. In particular, if you recently overclocked your computer, you'll want to know how stable it is through some thorough benchmarking. PerformanceTest is here to help, and it comes built-in with features that many other benchmarking programs don't have.

The first thing you'll notice when you boot it up is the aesthetic. A 3D motherboard, made to look cool more than be parallel to your own motherboard, is the first thing that greets you. There are six large tabs on the side, each representing a different benchmark test meant to test each component of your computer.

The first tab is PassMark. It's there to give your computer an overall test and then give you a rating as to how you compare to the rest of the world. The second tab is CPU Mark, Memory Mark, and Disk Mark are all fairly self-explanatory. 2D Mark and 3D Mark test your graphics card by seeing how it handles 2D and 3D images respectively. Each tab offers detailed test results, performance data, and graphs, as well as offering multiple tests to test your computer in different ways. Many tools have these tools, but not to the extent of PerformanceTest's capabilities.

There are other miscellaneous tools as well. Help gives you all the info you need if you're confused, and there are bonus tests in the advanced menu. You'll have 30 days to try it before you have to purchase it, so if you like what you see, think about downloading PerformanceTest.
