3DMark Vantage 1.10

FutureMark presents the latest version of its graphic benchmark 3DMark: the Vantage version. We will be able to make all kinds of performance tests on the graphic system of our computer.

One of its new functions is the use of profiles at the moment of making benchmarks which will be selected automatically depending on work of our graphic card, adjusting the quality and resolution of the scenes. 3dMark Vantage allows, apart from this all, to carry on benchmarks of physical simulations for checking the performance with physical cards.

But not all the novelties are good. 3DMark Vantage will only be available for Windows Vista and DirectX10, so the graphics which are not compatible with this standard, or computers which don't have the latest version of Microsoft operating system installed won't be able to use the application. Moreover, the free version is very reduced and allows only one test, so for enjoying all the options of the application we will have to use the paid version.

The minimum system requirements for this application are:

· Processor with support for SSE2 and similar performance to the Pentium 4 D 3.2 GHz

· Graphic card 100% compatible with D3D10 and 256 MB of memory

· 1 GB of RAM memory

· 2 GB of free hard drive space

· Operating system: Windows Vista.

The recommended requirements are:

· Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 or AMD equivalent

· Graphic card 100% compatible with D3D10 and 512 MB of memory

· 2 GB of RAM memory

· 2 GB of free hard drive space

· Operating system: Windows Vista
