Sometimes, a good insult can be incredibly witty and leaves your opponents with no avenue for comeback. Sometimes, they are just an excuse for you to flaunt your creativity and breadth of vocabulary. However, sometimes a fantastic insult simply comes from how stupid, childish, and absolutely illogical it is. Oh...Sir! Prototype thrives on that dichotomy.
To install Oh...Sir! Prototype, make sure you have Steam installed and go to this link to install the game.
The first thing you'll notice is the artistic style of this game. Every part of it really factors into it's ridiculousness, from the fish-eyed characters to the absolutely ridiculous art style overall. On top of that, once an insult has been constructed, a hilariously low budget voice will speak it. It's this kind of endearing jank that makes it loveable.
Gameplay wise, it's incredibly simple. You have 15 seconds to use the phrases in the middle to come up with a blinding insult that will mentally ruin your opponent. The phrases in the middle of from a shared pool, so you can strategically take away phrases that your opponent could potentially use. The best insults are all grammatically correct, so making sure your opponent can't make a grammatically accurate statement is key. If you're out of phrases, you can sip on the tea in front of you to generate two phrases that the opponent can't steal.
Overall, Oh...Sir! Prototype is a funny experience, but it doesn't take long before the novelty wears off. If you want to have a silly couple of minutes, however, there isn't a better game for that.
