Hardware Tycoon 1.0

Hardware Tycoon is a very simple mostly text based game about launching yourself from scratch as a computer component magnate, this involves researching, creating and producing CPU’s from your basement, then before they got to launch you must create your marketing plan and decide which continents to focus your advertisement campaign in and how much advertising wish to do, depending on how much your budget will allow of course.

The category that this rather unusual game falls in to is strategy and although it doesn’t look great these kinds of building up an empire games are quite few and far between however with no changing of the background scenery (well as far as we played at least) it can become rather monotonous even if watching your bank balance constantly increasing is kind of fun, shame it doesn’t happen like that in real life!

It’s unlikely that Hardware Tycoon is going to appeal to a large group of gamers but people who enjoy games such as Theme Park or Football Manager but are looking for something free to play may well enjoy this.
