War Thunder 1.53.8.34

War Thunder is a fantastic free to play massive multiplayer war game, it looks superb, it plays great and it’s hard to believe that it’s free. On top of all that it’s incredibly addictive to be honest the ground combat was not very exciting and the tanks can be very difficult to control however the air combat is superb, but the graphics in both events look great, the music fits the game perfectly giving you aspirations of being a war hero before you have even left the lobby.

The air combat starts with an objective normally of destroying all of the other teams ground crew before they do the same to yours and you need to learn to fly well fast because you will need to get close to the ground to get the small targets in order to win the mission.

The only small problem is if respawn is available it is not easily found and if you get killed early on it means you have to spectate until the match is over or you can leave and go back to your aircraft hangar but you will get less reward bonuses for this.

It’s incredibly satisfying when you take down an opponent’s aircraft though which takes much more skill than taking out the ground team as the ground teams are all AI, it’s much harder to be in battle with another unpredictable human being but that is part of what makes this game so much fun.

The only reason War Thunder game does not get ten out of ten is because the tank battles are not quite as much fun as the air battles but this is just my opinion with a little more practice I'm sure they would be a lot of fun and a great way distraction should you get tired of the air battles but its unlikely that will happen!

The graphics on both versions (ground and air) of play have been created with great detail and look fantastic, you are also able to communicate with your team mates using the chat window that is provided.

Waiting no more than a few seconds to be connected to a lobby with plenty of people ready to go to battle and it's not surprising when a game this good is available for free. 

Great looks, great soundtrack and great game play with servers that always seem to have plenty of people ready for a battle there is nothing not to like about War Thunder, especially when you remember it is free, ok there are in game purchases available but they are not necessary to enjoy this exhilarating game.
