Friday Night Funkin' has been a massive hit among the gaming community. It is insanely stylish while also hitting the nostalgia switch with its art style. It's also incredibly moddable, with practically every asset it has being editable. The community has created some amazing full week mods, and one of them is Vs Cye Weeks.

To install Vs Cye Weeks, simply drag and drop the files from the mod into the folder where you extracted the original game files.

This mod has something the original game doesn't - progression. As in, you have to finish the first week before you can move on to the second one and vice versa. This allows the developers to create a smoother difficulty curve that feels much more natural than the original game.

The game will also put its strongest foot forward with the first cinematic. However, the story doesn't live up to that - or the lack thereof. There's no storytelling through gameplay like a lot of other mods have, no visual novel segments to establish character, and not even that many duets to portray a growing relationship.

The first three songs utilize a ton of the exact same patterns and tricks and, on top of them being lengthier than the typical FNF song, makes the game feel way too repetitive. It isn't until you get to song 4 and the remixes in week 2 that you get some variety in gameplay.

However, it still has a ton of merits and none of the criticisms should dissuade you from giving Vs Cye Weeks a download.
