The Crooked Man was a surprising standout hit when it came out, with a ton of Youtubers playing it and giving it a ton of spotlight. However, most audiences actually don't know that it's part of a series called the Strange Men series, with the Crooked Man simply being the first of the series. The third game in the series is called The Boogie Man.
To install The Boogie Man, simply unzip the archive and run the executable and you're good to go.
This story follows a detective named Keith Baring, who's forced to go on professional leave in the very beginning of the game. He comes off as extremely unemotional and detached, which is seen as a negative when questioning witnesses. He goes with his wife to a creepy castle, where things steadily go wrong.
The characters are all memorable. His wife, especially, is a surprising aversion especially for this genre. Most of the cast are also the main characters from the last game and their loved ones, with there only being a couple new characters like Lance, who's a wonderfully morally ambiguous character and Brendon, who owns the castle and is wonderfully sinister.
In terms of gameplay, this is an even more refined version of the previous couple of entries in the series. Not much new, but it's polished to a sheen. If you liked the Crooked Man or the Sandman, then you should really give this particular game a try. It definitely will not disappoint if you liked Uri's style before.
