Don't you just hate when you're watching a movie in a language that you don't know and all you have to rely on in order to understand anything that's happening in the movie are the subtitles, but the subtitles are all messed up? With Subtitle Edit, you can now alter the subtitles in your movies so that they will sync up properly with lip movements, scene changes, etc. You can also utilize the spell check section of the application to not only check for misspelled words, but check for double words, and double lines - because that happens often. 

This version of Subtitle Edit includes some bug fixes and updates. The Korean, Bulgarian, Dutch, and German language files have all been updated for improved accuracy. There used to be a crash issue with the spell check feature. It has since been fixed. There were also some new subtitle formats introduced in the version prior to this one.
