Stick Shift 1.0

Stick Shift is a game from developer Robert Yang who also brought us Rinse and Repeat but whilst Rinse and Repeat combined a level of discomfort with enough humor to make it a fairly enjoyable experience something about the auto-erotica involved in stick shift makes it much more on the uncomfortable than humorous side although this game doesn’t feature any nudity yet the implication of what you are to do with the stick shift is the most uncomfortable thing about this game and although there is humor in the looks changing on the car drivers face as the speed of moving the stick shift changes it is very hard to not cringe while you move the mouse up and down in a motion that mimics....well you know what.

I think the discomfort comes from this, I am sure there are plenty of people who will not feel uncomfortable at all playing this and may well enjoy it thoroughly so while it certainly won’t be appealing to everyone that is not to say it is a bad game, the problem I personally have with the game is that I expected you would be following the mechanism of changing the stick in to different gears but it was a lot more awkward when the main mechanic of the game is just rubbing the gear stick up and down, you may never look at your mouse in the same way again afterwards!
