Monster Hunter Rise is the latest entry in the Monster Hunter series, and one of the most accessible to newcomers. It's new mechanics give it a giant safety net for newcomers while still challenging old timers towards the end game. Since the game is now one of two to come to the PC, the modding community has been working hard to improve the game. One of them is REFramework, an overlay that's essential for many mods to function properly.

To install REFramework, simply extract the dinpu8.dll file into your Monster Hunter Rise game install folder. You can find it by going to your Steam library, right clicking on Monster Hunter Rise, and browse local files.

There's not too much to go over with this mod other than the fact that it is essential for other mods to function. On its own, it is simply a suite of developer tools as well as some graphical tweaking options. For instance, you can toggle certain graphical effects to improve performance on your computer if your's is on the weaker side. You can also toggle free-flight cam and fly around the map to get some beautiful screenshots if you so choose to, with a ton of different effects that lets you change how fast you fly or what kind of FoV it has.

Those are the most notable functions it has on its own. The plugin loaders, scriptrunner and script-generated UI are all related to other mods.

If you want to mod on Monster Hunter Rise, then you'll absolutely need REFramework.
