OneNote is a digital notebook with some really great features, you can keep it running on your PC and make any notes that you need to take whilst working on other projects, one of the best features is the auto save which means should you actually shut the program down before manually saving, which we have all done at some point and know how frustrating it can be but with OneNote you won’t have lost your work. Using the program you can link notes to original documents or even to a meeting in your outlook calendar. You can insert images and you can also take audio and video recordings and have your typed notes synced to them.

It has a really nice and easy to use interface it is deceptive as it looks so simple but yet there are so many features to be discovered in OneNote, you can draw directly on the page, you can also insert files as attachments, you are able to zoom in and zoom out for easier viewing.

OneNote is well organized and well-presented and its simplicity hides just how many great features are included within this free note taking application, there are a lot of competitors out there in regards to note taking apps but OneNote stands head and shoulders above the rest due to it’s fantastic interface and the amount of useful features it includes.
