Northbound is a narrative driven adventure game where you play as one character in a group of friends who after graduating from University go on a road trip to a place they used to visit together as children, the game has many interactive elements but is also very much story driven, you will need to click on certain characters to interact with them and certain items to use them, this can range from anything from drinking a beer to reading a road map and helping to navigate for the driver on your journey to your destination.

The game is bright and colorful and atmospheric worth nice animations, made by a group of Scandinavian University students the game clearly draws from their own experiences, one of the nicest parts about the game is the music used on the radio while driving and listening to the vocal parts of the game which really helps to add to the road trip atmosphere.

Northbound was a project started many months ago and the developers have released this version as they plan to pick up and improve the game again now, you can follow the progress of it here .
