The new and improved Mobogenie 2.0 for Android

The new and improved Mobogenie 2.0 for Android

Mobogenie, which we covered in a previous article: Is Mobogenie safe?, is a custom application store and management service for Android devices. Its only flaw, as we explained in the aforementioned article, is the amount of ads you have to deal with while using it. While I personally am allergic to ads, people seem to love the application, as there are more than 400 million installations worldwide, in a variety of languages. It’s clear Mobogenie is very popular, but it needs to keep improving to make sure their users are happy and remain loyal.

Mobogenie 2.0 for Android

Fortunately, last week on September 23rd, the developer released a new version of this famous application, with a host of new features to help users find what they need without much hassle. Here are some of the most exciting features coming with Mobogenie 2.0:

The Cleanup feature
Mobogenie will now automatically delete, compress and generally clean up extra and unwanted memory taken by application installations, conserving memory for Android users. This is one of the best new features, as mobile memory can be very limited, even with the largest SD card.

Suggestions
Mobogenie’s application library is massive and some users complained about it being too large to check one by one. Listening to their users, the developers have polished their store, first showing users applications based on their likes and preferences and allowing them to filter searches based on tags and aggregated user data.

User Protection
One of the core Mobogenie 2.0 philosophies is to make sure that the clean and easy installations don’t compromise the user’s security, so this version automatically uses the latest Kaspersky, Norton and McAffee anti-viruses to scan the applications you are downloading so that you can be confident that you’re not downloading and installing anything that could be harmful.

Expanded Library
Combined with the cleanup and the Suggestions features comes an ever-expanding list of options for user downloads. If you think applications is the only thing the Mobogenie library has to offer, then you’re missing out because it also brings you games (technically still apps, ok), pictures, wallpapers, videos and even e-books. This makes Mobogenie the complete experience when it comes for options for your Android smartphone.

Do these significant improvements convince you to take a look at Mobogenie or, as a previous user, does this make you forgive and forget the ad invasion the application brings? If the answer for any of them is YES, then click here for the Mobogenie 2.2.6 download, right here on Rocky Bytes and don’t forget to keep up with our announcements on the application and the many others we provide. The developers seem confident in their product, stating they expect downloads to rise to 268 billion, earning them quite a lot of money.

As always, we’re very interested in knowing what you think, so hit us in the comments and tell us all about your Mobogenie experiences. What are you favourite new features coming with this version?
