New options in Agar.io: Experimental Mode and Party (with friends) Mode!

Our current favorite game, Agar.io, has expanded including new functions that make it funnier, more playable and entertaining than ever! The new updates affect the game whether or not you have installed the Agar.io scripts (find out all about that in the article How to play Agar.io with friends in the same server and under the same IP).

Let’s explain what the two new Agar.io game modes are about, the experimental mode and the party mode.

What is the Agar.io Experimental Game Mode? 

The experimental game mode is a renewed system in which the essence of the game is pretty much the original one, because you need to eat the rest of the cells. There are, however, several changes in the strategy and functionality of this mode.

How does the experimental mode work?

We can find two fundamental changes in this mode: 

- The brown agar.io ball

There is a new static ball in the map, you can even find more than one sometimes. Such ball is similar to the pointy green ball that we use to make bigger cells explode, but the new one is brown and we cannot move it in under any circumstances. So what’s the use of this new Agar.io brown ball? It has a very particular use: we can give our mass to it, but the ball won’t get bigger. Instead, it will release the mass all around itself. If your cell is smaller than the brown ball, it will soak you up and release your mass everywhere, you’ll see how all the other cells fight for it!

- News concerning the pointy green balls

The other big change that we can find in the experimental mode completely changes the way we make the cells explode in Agar.io. We used to give mass to the green pointy ball until it reached its limit and it duplicated, throwing a similar ball to make our enemies explode. There is some news concerning such green balls, since the method to break them is not the same anymore. Now the green ball’s mass won’t grow, if we give them mass we will be pushing them. The experimental mode offers more possibilities for everyone

The new features somehow make the game fairer, since everyone with a little bit of mass can lead a green ball to its target and the bigger cells won’t suspect that you can break them just as we can see in the following situation, but now small cells can actually kill the giant ones!

What is the Agar.io Party game Mode?

The new Agar.io party game mode will make things so much easier for the users who like to play games in the same server. No more looking map after map to see in where your mates are playing, and there is no need to download a script for that use either!

In the new Agar.io party mode you will be given a code that you need to send to whoever you want to play Agar.io with. You just need to enter the party mode, press the “create” button and the code will appear.

Once you’ve shared it with your friends, they will need to enter the party mode as well, press “join” and introduce your code. Easy, right? Let’s start playing!
