There is NO 15TH JULY UPDATE for Yandere Simulator. Why?

We were expecting our biweekly dose of Yandere Simulator’s updates to be out today, July 15th, but something has gone wrong. Instead of the usual gameplay that YandereDev posts in his blog once every two weeks explaining the new features available in the game, we woke up to find another kind of video…
Reasons for not having the 15th July Update of Yandere Simulator
YandereDev posted two videos apologizing and explaining every reason why he had not been capable of posting a new Yandere Simulator update on July 15th as he promised to his growing audience. In the videos, which can be described as both dramatic and depressing, he explains that he has spent the last two weeks answering e-mails 12 hours a day and hasn’t had time for literally anything else (he also complains about his lack of free time to play videogames and watch anime).
The root of the problem comes from YandereDev’s overworking situation: he is acting as the director, leader, manager, producer and programmer of the project, all at the same time. As a result, he says, he cannot take days off or vacations. He is very reticent about hiring somebody else to help him with his workload because he wants things to go exactly the way he planned them. In order to invest more time writing code, from now on he will only answer a very specific kind of e-mail (the guidelines are explained on his videos).
On a more positive note, and considering how visibly upset YandereDev feels about the current situation, he promised a new update for August 1st, so the fandom has something to look forward to after all. He also encouraged people who are supporting him financially via Patreon to keep doing so, but he also respects and understands those who will stop helping him after such disappointing news. Just in case you are not familiar with Yandere Simulator, here’s a tutorial for this amazing stealth game:
