Mid-Fight Masses Recharted 1.0

Let's get something out of the way - Mid-Fight Masses is absolutely one of the best Friday Night Funkin' mods...in terms of everything that isn't gameplay. It's songs, characters, and storytelling are pretty top tier, and it's amazing just how lovable the characters are with so little screentime. That being said, the gameplay is really bad. The custom engine used is as bad as, if not worse, than the base FNF game, and the charts constantly use doubles that barely register and rolls that don't even exist in the song. It's so bad that there's a mod specifically to fix the charting - Mid-Fight Masses Recharted.

To install Mid-Fight Masses Recharted, simply apply the base Sarvente mod then apply this mod over it.

To access this mod, simply select the hard difficulty. If you want to play the original charts, just select alt difficulty.

This mod, like the title says, recharts all the songs in the Sarvente mod. That includes removing a majority of the double notes that the custom engine simply can't register, and also removes all the notes that the song doesn't have naturally. This results in a series of songs that, while still incredibly challenging just because of how fast-paced the songs originally were.

One thing to note is that the Sarvente mod is actually very competent at staircase notes, and this mod makes heavy use of that for most of its difficulty. If you want to experience the mod at its best, then you should definitely install Mid-Fight Masses Recharted.
