There's a ton of software out there that lets you create your own music, but many fall short of actual instruments that are played and recorded with skill. While that fact can't be disputed, there have been entire subgenres of music that have been solely computer generated, with no equivalent available in the physical world. If you like that type of music, then Magix Music Maker will help you create those songs and with little effort to boot!

While Magix Music Maker is listed as having a 7 day trial by yours truly, you can actually extend the trial period by registering on their website. Doing so will increase it to a whopping 30-day trial, letting you toy around with it much longer than most other programs.

Booting it up will probably bring back memories of whatever that band program back in grade school was. The interface is sleeker and there's more variety, obviously, Each track you put in has individual mute and record buttons, should you want to insert your own recordings into the track.

However, where this program excels is in the selection of sounds and clips that are available to you. While a trial user won't have as many options, you can still easily create synth or dubstep tracks with what is available to you. If you're a music enthusiast, then I strongly urge you to give Magix Music Maker at least a shot! There's little issue once you get over the initial learning hump, and who knows? It could bring you great fortune.
