Artix Entertainment has been making games for over a decade now. I still remember when I was a kid how I found AdventureQuest and found it to be one of the coolest games ever. Even to this day, I can appreciate just how high quality it is for a flash game of its time. Its setting held a ton of potential, and the developers quickly started expanding it with other games. One of them is IdleQuest, a relatively lighthearted idle game.

To play IdleQuest, make sure you have the Artix Game Launcher installed and head on over to its tab to play the game.

Unlike many other Artix Entertainment games that are known for their long and relatively intricate storylines, this game has no storyline to speak of.

The gameplay, at first, looks like a very typical idle game fare. However, you'll quickly notice a few things that are different about it. For one, the upgrades seem obscenely expensive. To level your adventurer up from 1 to 2, it takes a whopping 144 gold. This may seem strange when almost every other idle game first levels start off at 10 gold and increase from there. Another thing is that you have to purchase entry into the next level. You'll quickly find that each hero level gives exponentially more power and each area drops new items.

Speaking of items - that's how this game keeps old areas relevant. Monsters can drop gear that will give your whole party a flat boost. If you missed a piece of gear, you'll have to backtrack to hunt it down.

Overall, IdleQuest is an interesting idle game that fans of the genre should try out.
