Heroes and Generals 1.18.1

There are a ton of shooter games out there. However, not many of them heavily reward coordination over just simply shooting the other team more. After all, how would you design a game like that which wouldn't simply give a team with third party voice programs an overwhelming advantage? Well, Heroes and Generals has taken a rather interesting solution to this problem.

On the surface, this game looks just like any other WW2 shooter. However, there is one thing that sets it apart from the rest - the general. Unlike many other games, this lets an experienced player give his team objectives to accomplish, effectively telling them where to hit. This is very important, as most of the mission objectives in this game revolves around controlling certain locations, and the general will have to manage his team's firepower to guarantee success.

To get to the rank of General, you'll have to constantly play the game. Every player will start as a normal grunt and have to earn XP to rank up, much like other games. This may seem a bit droll, bit keep in mind that the endgame will be having to command your team. 

Of course, being a free game, there are downsides such as not being able to operate vehicles without playing. Otherwise, however, Heroes and Generals is still a great infantry game for those who want it.
