Heaven's Point 1.0

Heaven’s Point is a retro style side scrolling beat ‘em up game that also involves puzzles and problem solving.

The game has an inviting and colorful style but it is also very violent and you can literally wander in to the street and beat seven bells out of anyone who you may come across, however there is a linear storyline to follow involving your reporter friend June.

Some of the controls can be a bit tricky to get used to at first especially when you receive a call on your cellphone and using the interaction menu is a little confusing but once you have the hang of it, you will need to use the interaction menu to progress in the game.

When the game starts you are in your house and can train yourself up to be the ultimate fighting machine when you step out in to the dangerous streets of the slums.

The fighting animations are a lot of fun to look at and there is something very satisfying about pulling off a roundhouse kick on one of your enemies.

The game gives you many little objectives such as finding an item to unlock the next part of the game which keeps it interesting when you’re not beating up enemies and strangers.

This is still a pre-alpha version of the game but it is very promising start and we will be watching avidly its development.
