Friday Night Funkin' was a smash hit when it came out over a year ago, and took the gaming scene by storm. It is insanely stylish while also hitting the nostalgia switch with its art style. Even now, its modding community is still going strong for a good reason. The incredible modability along with the relatively simple engine lends it incredibly well to modders. The community has created some amazing mods, but not all of them were created in a day. Some of them are simply demos of what's to come. One of them is Friday Night Rush - Sonic Rush Mod.

To install Friday Night Rush - Sonic Rush Mod, simply install the Psych Engine and drag the files into the mods folder. Then, click PsychEngine.exe to play the game.

This mod features one song, but it also features an opponent mode where you can play as Sonic instead of the Boyfriend. The song itself is very well mapped and extremely catchy, referencing a ton of tracks from the series that it is inspired by. The mod is also incredibly well presented, with a menu theme that's ridiculously catchy and calls back to the Sonic Rush series. That Sonic spin-off series had some of the best tracks in the series and this mod takes full advantage of that.

While it's not exactly relevant as to the quality of the mod, it is still worth pointing out that this demo is only made by a single person, something that's incredibly impressive considering all the work that goes into a mod of this quality.
