Friday Night Funkin' has been a massive hit among the gaming community. It is insanely stylish while also hitting the nostalgia switch with its art style. It's also incredibly moddable, with practically every asset it has being editable. The community has created some amazing mods and one of the best is FNF Clay Mod, a mod that masters the art of stylistically sucking.
To install FNF Clay Mod, simply drag and drop the files from the mod into the folder where you extracted the original game files.
This mod replaces every character and asset in the game with some very impressive. Every single character has their screenshot taken from a clay model. While there is some stuttering, it's to be expected, considering how difficult it is to avoid stuttering sprites normally. It must have been almost impossible to stay on model with clay figures while changing its poses.
What's most impressive is just how on model they are. They aren't stretched or take up a significant more amount of space than the game's normal sprites do.
The only assets that aren't replaced are the background and the people in the background. That means that even the game over scene is replaced, which is doubly impressive as its color scheme is completely changed.
FNF Clay Mod is one of the best and most effort-filled mod out there. It takes so much effort to make clay figures normally that anybody working with clay is impressive, let alone all the effort it must have taken to cut out the appropriate PNGs.
