Flash games were the precursors to many parts of the gaming industry today. The creativity and willingness to experiment has translated over to the indie games industry, many design elements that are used in AAA games today were fleshed out in Flash games. For instance, the concept of just being another soldier in the army was really fleshed out in Endless War 6.

To install Endless War 6, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.

Instead of returning to infantry combat, it stays committed to its vehicular combat change. To its credit, however, it's improved significantly. You're now controlling a proper tank, with multiple turrets and weapons. You will now always have a CPU companion that will handle whatever turret you aren't controlling, but optimized efficiency will always come from you manually controlling the turret. You fill up a special bar whenever you kill something, and 

You will also go through a ton more warfronts, with you supporting your lines of infantry as they charge the front lines and attack the enemy base. This game has a fantastic sense of scale and the game only gets more and more insane as you progress.

All in all, Endless War 6 is a great game and went a long way in warming me up to the new vehicular combat. It brings a sense of scale that you really can't find anywhere else in Flash games.
