There was a game called Nidhogg where you played as two immortal duelists who constantly try to get past each other and get eaten by a giant worm at the end of the map. These two duelists will constantly be trying to stop each other from reaching their goal zone. The game was addicting, with engaging skill-based combat that's immediately lethal and a variety of attacks that let you mix up your approach. This game is much the same as Nidhogg, with there being two immortal duelists that are constantly trying to reach the end of the ma on their side. There are a few differences though. For instance, the control scheme is different, which may seem small but important when it comes to a combat heavy game like this. If you want to stab someone in the face, simply hold up your sword and attack. You no longer need to mess around with the fencing controls of the original.

The maps are all fantastically designed, with a ton of choke points, traps, and an excellent flow that will give both players a fair chance at victory. Overall, EGGNOGG+ is a great game that can stand up to its paid counterparts, and is free. If you and a friend want to go at each other, then you should really give this game a download.
