Duo Pack 1.0

Friday Night Funkin' has been a massive hit among the gaming community. It is insanely stylish while also hitting the nostalgia switch with its art style. It's also incredibly moddable, with practically every asset it has being editable. The community has created a ton of mods. One of the many is the Duo Pack, which imports a ton of Among Us memes into a playable format and replaces Week 1.

To install the Duo Pack, simply drag and drop the files from the mod into the folder where you extracted the original game files.

This mod replaces week 1-4 with a small remix with its own map. Instead of you and your opponent alternating singing, you instead go at the exact same time. While this sounds like a good concept, it actually comes out to be rather disappointing. Not in execution, mind you. It's executed about as well as you can expect. However, it ends up taking a lot of flavor from the game, making it play like it's big brother DDR, and every verse is repeated twice to keep each song the same length. Almost everything unique is stripped from the game with this gameplay style.

On top of that, you can no longer take a look at the animations and little easter eggs this game has as you must focus wholly on gameplay, taking more from the charm. It's not even particularly difficult, meaning that there's not even a difficulty factor to save it.

All in all, Duo Pack is a pretty basic mod for the game. While it's an interesting experiment, it turns out that taking many unique features the game has makes it less interesting.
