Clayton's Quest 1.0

Clayton’s Quest is a 3D exploration platform game set in a charming arts and crafts world, as the protagonist Clayton who is made out of clay (presumably) who has the ability to transform in to a bowling ball but for the most part takes his two legged form where he can jump and cling to ledges and can also punch little animals!

We’re not really sure if the punching the little black hedgehogs thing really fits in the fun and happy world of Clayton but it is probably the least violent melee attack you will ever see in a game and when you start using the attack comes about just at a time when the game starts to get a bit easy and stale and adds another interesting new element.

Overall Clayton’s Quest is one of the most happy and joyous games we’ve ever had the pleasure of playing and you can see that a lot of time, effort and love has been put in to this by the developers Jam Root Games, it is reminiscent of classic platform games in its bright and sunshine filled universe of course now with a 3D twist.

The game clearly takes influence from Sonic, Mario and Crash Bandicoot and is just a fantastic and wonderful experience especially when you consider that it is a free game and was made in less than 25 weeks.
