Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. There are a ton of these series around, and one of them is the Chikarou series, a series that is known for bite-sized escape experiences. Let's look at Chikarou 1.

This game has no story, which is completely fine, as the game is incredibly short. There is only one puzzle, and if you know what you're doing, you can finish the game in just 90 seconds. As the puzzles themselves don't really change, this game also has no replay value.

However, what's there is pretty high quality. The single room you're given is beautiful, and instantly tells you everything you need to know about the puzzle at first glance. You can instantly tell where to start working the puzzle as there's only so much you can click on, and an intuitive design like that is a rare treat sometimes when it comes to these escape games.

All in all, Chikarou 1 is a great introduction to the series and gives you a hint of what's to come.
