Minecraft is huge! We know that. And waking around on foot all day isn't going to do much for you in terms of getting anywhere. You need a car. Plus I don't think there are any bikes in Minecraft, but I could be wrong. The Car Mod brings cars to Minecraft. With one you can get around a lot faster than you would have without one - just like in real life. Except you don't die if you crash into another car and the likelihood of that happening in the game is very slim anyway.
With the Car Mod you can build/craft cars using specific gathered materials and enjoy the game a bit more. Unfortunately you can only drive upwards one block at a time, but maybe a future update would allow you to build better, faster cars that will allow for two blocks at a time.
Note: running the carmod.exe file does not automatically install the mod for your game. It is a self extracting file that allows you to extract the mods to wherever you need to. In order to properly install the game follow these steps.
How to install Minecraft Mod Car:
- Download the Car Mod from Rocky Bytes
- Open the .minecraft / bin
- Open the Minecraft.jar file
- Delete the META INF folder
- Put all of the mod loader files in Minecraft.jar
- Run Minecraft and go back to Minecraft.jar
- Copy the Car Mod files into the mods folder
- Run Minecraft and drive baby! - gotta make a car first though.
- Download the Car Mod today for your Minecraft game and get going.
