C A R G O 1.0

Survival horror games has had a couple of different eras in its design. There was the era where certain strong monsters came crashing out of nowhere and you had to defend yourself with firearms. Then, there was the era where you had to fend off a horde of enemies with firearms. Then there was the era where it was jumpscares galore and you couldn't defend yourself. Now, the era where there is a single strong monster stalking the darkness and you have to avoid it at all costs. C A R G O fits into the era where you defend yourself...kind of.

To install C A R G O, simply unzip it and run the executable, and you're good to go.

Something to keep in mind is that this game is incredibly short. You can finish it in five minutes without particularly rushing. You play as a C A R G O special operative who works for a facility that studies the supernatural. There's an outbreak at one of the facilities, and you and your team is sent in to clear the area out.

What starts as a simple clean up job eventually becomes, as horror games usually do, awful. It culminates in you becoming the final survivor of your team in a desperate escape sequence that, surprisingly, takes all the gameplay mechanics you've learned in the incredibly short runtime and blends them together.

All in all, C A R G O is a playthrough even if you're not particularly into horror games.
