Counter-Strike has been a staple in the FPS genre for years now, and its unique style of gameplay has set it apart from all its competition. However, it's strange in that there hasn't been a true competitor to it in its genre. There have, however, been a ton of different imitators. Like other tactical shooters, the time to kill is extremely low. A single headshot is enough to kill an enemy instantly, and you have to control the spray. However, this game has a lot lower recoil than most other tactical shooters, making the learning curve slightly more forgiving.

This game also has unique game modes such as Protect the Commander. In this mode, you have to kill the other team's commander. Players who die don't respawn, and every round turns into a tense exchange of gunfire.

There is also a tactics system and a mastery system. The tactics system are basically skills that you can equip to increase attributes such as movement speed, HP, and faster reload time.  The mastery system rewards you for sticking with a certain type of weapon, and is also one of the best ways to get free weapons.

All in all, BlackShot: Mercenary Warfare FPS is a solid shooter that holds up.
