BF Over GF Mod 1.0

Friday Night Funkin' has been a massive hit among the gaming community. It is insanely stylish while also hitting the nostalgia switch with its art style. It's also incredibly moddable, with practically every asset it has being editable. The community has created a ton of mods. One of the many is the BF Over GF Mod, which has the boyfriend sit in for the girlfriend on the boombox.

To install the BF Over GF Mod, simply drag and drop the files from the mod into the folder where you extracted the original game files.

This replaces the girlfriend with a custom model of the boyfriend for every week except week 6. In terms of actual visuals, the model is put together very well. The boyfriend's sitting pose is a tiny bit too feminine, considering the boyfriend's attitude. The pose just doesn't feel like it's very in character, which is a small shame.

The songs themselves haven't changed at all, though. This is purely a visual change, and it's quite a good one. On top of that, the model for week 6 hasn't been updated and likely won't be for a while, as the creator has said that he's unable to do pixel art, and hasn't exactly been jumping up for volunteers. That's somewhat unfortunate but understandable.

Still, this is one of the better-looking visual mods out there. The BF Over GF Mod looks great, and while it's used for a...joke? It's still a pretty well put-together mod with minimal animation popping.
