Train Track Champion 002

Train Track Champion is a 3D game that’s kind of like a throwback to games of days gone by our first thought when starting the game was that it was like an updated version of Frogger (the game where you had to cross the road as a little frog without being hit by cars) and looked great in that kind of simplistic way that games that focus on fun rather than aesthetics normally do and at first it was fun in a cool nostalgic way the more obstacles we avoided the faster the train got we passed for some reason many cars parked on the train tracks, fallen trees and even other trains going in the opposite direction. 

Then we found one flaw which ruined the whole game for us, you didn’t need to switch tracks the train just ghosted through any obstacle in our way so the objective of the game became irrelevant and playing felt rather pointless. Of course we then completed the one level available at the first attempt because there is no challenge here at all, it seems that a vital part of the game had been missed in the coding that actually make computer games worthy of playing the air of winning or failure and when only winning is possible it defeats the point of playing a game. The game can also be downloaded for smart phones and can be played by swiping the screen whether or not you will find the same issues we had by playing this way remains to be seen but on PC Train Track Champion leaves a lot to be desired.
