Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among Japanese flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. There are a ton of flash game creators that got into the craze, with Dassyutu being one of many. Let's look at one of their games, The Tower 14F.
To play The Tower 14F, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.
The first impressions aren't great. The translation is off and the interface is incredibly simplistic. The graphics have a very amateur early flash game look, with no shadows anywhere to be seen and a flat presentation but it accomplishes the most important thing, which is that every single interactable object will stand out.
The presentation of the game is fairly lacking, but the puzzles themselves are fairly fun and well-designed, however. There's a consistent flow of logic and a lack of pixel hunting, which is impressive for a flash escape game because there's a ton of those pitfalls in these kind of games.
All in all, if you're a fan of point-and-click games, then The Tower 14F is worth ten minutes of your time. It's a very worthwhile use of your time.
