The Tender Cut is a very surreal game based on the short movie Un Chien Andalou which was created by the Spanish director Luis Bunuel and the Spanish contemporary artist Salvador Dali which should let you know you are in for something pretty weird to unfold in front of you and I say unfold in front of you because when you start the game it gives you the option to “watch” rather than play although you are able to control the character and move around, you can also pick up objects and even smoke a cigarette all of the objects are related to the original film in some way and on a TV in the room the actual film that this game is based on plays over, do be warned there is one scene in this film that is quite horrific and disturbing so if you are squeamish best to avoid looking at the TV screen although some of the objects you may find are pretty freaky too but nothing as upsetting as that one part of the movie.
The game itself actually looks great a lot of time and effort has been put in to the detail and although this will not appeal to everyone but fans of art, weirdness and Salvador Dali should get a kick out of The Tender Cut, you can download The Tender Cut here for free.
