The Elevator 1.2

The Elevator starts off as an intriguing visual novel which is very well written, you play as Detective Carmicheal who is still haunted by the case he cracked whilst working for the police many years ago making him an overnight super star for catching an illustrious serial killer.

Now many years later he runs a private detective agency with another ex-police buddy of his and currently on the case of a missing boy, each day he sees a mysterious woman in the elevator he rides to a high story in the building his office is based in and a friendship eventually blossoms.

As visual novels go this is one of the most polished we have come across and the story starts off very well feeding you just enough drips of information to make you curious to know much more however as it develops it starts to become very obvious and clichéd and without giving anything away the finale is fairly disappointing as you can see it coming from a long way off.

That being said compared to some free visual novels around if you’re a fan of this genre then it’s definitely worth playing through but don’t go in to it with too high expectations.
