Scorch 1.0

Scorch is an intriguing first person murder mystery adventure game where you play as a detective on the hunt for the murderer of a national park ranger. You must explore the crime scene and surrounding area to find clues and piece together what happened in the hours running up to the murder.

Of course in the standard of classic cop drama you are on your last chance in the force due to being reckless and an alcoholic, you receive phone calls from your boss informing you of all this information and the script behind Scorch is actually quite good if a little clichéd however the voice acting is very wooden and sometimes feels as if they are robots talking as lines that are supposed to be delivered with emotion or humor seem very flat but the fact there is voice acting at all in a free game shows that this is of an overall decent quality and should please any wannabe sleuths among you.

It doesn’t take too much time to complete the game in total but it is a fun experience in an idyllic setting that has been made with a lot of care, despite some minor flaws this is actually a very cool mystery game.
