In addition, it gives access to three different menus - namely options/settings, processor benchmark test, and statistics and history report.

Unfortunately, this program is actually incredibly basic, and the way in which it boosts your computer can be done manually easily. It simply switches the running process's priority between high and realtime, depending on the active window. There's also a processor benchmark, which ends up being this program's main usage as the actual boosting process is so simple.

Overall, PCBoost can be useful to a basic user, but almost useless for an experienced user. And considering it isn't totally free, it's hard to recommend.
