If you're still using Windows XP today, I totally get it. It is, to this day, the most stable and straightforward of all the Windows software. If you aren't hardcore playing games and just worried about functionality, then there's little better if you want to keep using Microsoft. Unfortunately, a lot of developers have dropped support for it over the years, as the demand has simply been going down. One of the few remaining is Optimum XP.
The installation procedure for Optimum XP is straightforward and simple, just like many installers back in the day. Booting the program up will give you the freedom to customize the default system configurations and change registry settings so you can obtain processing speeds, fast booting and improved memory use. It comes with a rich array of tweaks designed to increase Windows' performance, enhance Internet and network access speed, improve security and ensure quick and comfortable access to files and important sections.
The interface is simple, comprising of four different tabs, each dedicated to a specific area. Each of these are fairly self explanatory. There are dozens of settings you can experiment with and all you have to do is uncheck or check each of those boxes. The program can also has options that speed up browsing speed, free up system resources, disable certain services and other options.
Overall, Optimum XP is a great download for anyone who's still using Windows XP. With so few optimization options still available, you'd be remiss to not use it.
