Mind the Vikings 1.0

Mind the Vikings is a small town building simulation game where you build a medieval town from the ground up.

Although the game is still in its alpha phase of development it looks very promising and charming aside from the odd bug here and there.

You start off with just a couple of Vikings which you must assign to roles that you feel are most important whether that’s a lumberjack, miner or hunter of course all of these professions will provide you with some sort of commodity (wood, rock, food) the materials you will need to build and expand your town but if you don’t collect enough food your Vikings will become too hungry to actually perform their duties.

To be successful in Mind the Vikings you will have to balance the duties of your Vikings whilst you also increase the amount of houses and storage spaces to entice more people to join your town.

Eventually you can hope to have a thriving population and a large town and as city building games go this actually a very nicely made one however due to it still being so early in development it can feel a little minimal and once you’ve added all the different types of buildings possible it does get a bit same-y but that’s not to say it’s not fun setting up that initial town and assigning your Vikings to all different duties whilst trying to look after their welfare.
