Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid-size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among Japanese flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. There are a ton of flash game creators that got into the craze, but Renegade took a very different approach to the genre. Let's look at Leaving Your Room 1.

This game has a very unique sense of humor. From the start, Cosmos from Fairy Oddparents will appear on your screen and boast about how he's copyrighted and that the creator of the game is in trouble. This sense of humor carries through the whole game, as it takes "find keys to escape" and amplifies it by making keys a sentient pest species that's infested your house and are stopping you from escaping. 

The gameplay is fairly familiar (except for the start, where you have to hold tab to find a button). Find every single key in your room and click on them so you can open the door and escape. What you see is what you get.

All in all, if you're a fan of point-and-click games, then Leaving Your Room 1 is a worthwhile use of your time.
