Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid-size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among Japanese flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. There are a ton of flash game creators that got into the craze, with Flonga being one of many. Let's look at one of their games, Kidnapped by Robots.
To play Kidnapped by Robots, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.
The first impressions are very good. This is a narrative driven game and it starts off with showing you the setup to the game. You wake up inside a ship after being kidnapped at sea by pirates and need to somehow get off the ship and escape before they ransom you off.
The puzzles are incredibly fun to play through. They're pretty bite-size and are clearly intended to just fill up some spare time you have. The puzzles are very intuitive and all the objects that can be interacted with are very noticeable so you don't have to go pixel hunting.
All in all, if you're a fan of point-and-click games, then Kidnapped by Robots is worth ten minutes of your time. It's a very worthwhile use of your time.
