As a consumer and application downloader don't you hate it when you have to start a download completely over from the beginning when the unfortunate happens, such as a random router disconnection, power outage, or you have an emergency that requires you to disconnect your computer/ laptop from the internet while your download is still going? That's never fun, especially if it was something large like a movie, game, or operating system. I've been there before and it almost makes you not want to even download the file anymore, luckily JDownloader has a fix for that. You can easily pause and resume a download at anytime with JDownloader, without losing all of your progress.

However that isn't all; the downloader also comes with options for setting a desired bandwidth limit for downloads so that your other applications continue to run smoothly during the download, or so that your other devices connected to the internet do not experience hiccups in their connections.

Last but certainly not least, the JDownloader can also automatically extract zip files and archives so that you do not have to when you go to your download. I don't know about you but when I am presented with a notification that tells me that my download is complete, I would like for it to actually be complete. All that I should ever have to do is start the set up process, nothing more.
