Interstellar Army Simulator 2015 1.0

Warhammer 40k is one of the most popular settings in science fiction, but its gaming scene is surprisingly bare. Despite Games Workshop opening the doors for a ton of different developers to get in on the setting, there have only been a couple of successful video games out there. Fans have taken things into their own hands, and after a long and complicated series of events, Interstellar Army Simulator 2015 is the result of a desire to create a true simulation game.

To install Interstellar Army Simulator 2015, simply unzip the archive and run the executable.

This game is, frankly, not friendly to the average gamer at all. The UI is extremely clunky, the sheer amount of text and buttons that fills up the screen is borderline illegal, and the visuals and audio are incredibly barebones and basic. So why play the game? Well, you can customize practically every single aspect of the army you're managing. Does your army have mutations? What worlds do you recruit from? How do you train your recruits? How exactly are they dressed? And what kind of weapon are you going to give to every single squad?

This, much like Stellaris or Dwarf Fortress, is ultimately a storytelling game. You're not expected to win - you're expected to play each run treating it as a roleplaying session and just seeing what will happen to your army. 

All in all, Interstellar Army Simulator 2015 is a fine game. If it was easier to approach, it would even be a great game.
