Friday Night Funkin' has been a massive hit among the gaming community. It is insanely stylish while also hitting the nostalgia switch with its art style. It's also incredibly moddable, with practically every asset it has being editable. The community has created a ton of mods. One of the many is the High Effort Ugh, which lets you play through a newly announced and revealed song for the unreleased Week 7.
To install the High Effort Ugh, simply drag and drop the files from the mod into the folder where you extracted the original game files.
This mod only focuses on one song, with there not being a song list for you to scroll through. Once you click on the "Ugh" in the title screen, the game starts immediately.
The background is week 3, but don't let that distract you from the beautifully rendered Tank Man from Newgrounds. This is an incredibly high quality sprite sheet, with him even being programmed to display a unique sprite whenever the titular "Ugh" sound plays in the song. Not even the official game has official alternate sprites like that, so it was truly impressive.
The song itself is also incredibly well mapped and fun to play through, with its difficulty being somewhat harder than MILF from the base game but not as crazy as something like the Whitty mod.
All in all, High Effort Ugh is a song that is mapped out well and fun to play through. The visuals are amazing on top of that, which makes this easily one of the best mods around.
