Heroes of the Storm 1.0

Heroes of The Storm is a multiplayer online battle arena game from Blizzard the developers who brought you World of Warcraft and Hearthstone so it is in very good company and does it live up to it's predecessors?

It has to a be a resounding yes.

The graphics are superb and the voices and music perfectly done, however the soundbites can become a little tedious after a while but the game is a lot of fun, the control system is easy enough to get used to and the tutorial levels of the Heroes of The Storm introduce to everything you need to know by having a few practice battles against the computers AI, of course real online battles will always be more fun, there's nothing more satisfying than knowing there is a real person sitting somewhere else in the world who you have just "killed" unless of course you are the one who has been killed!

The intro sequence is really cool and a lot of work has been put in to the characters and scenery, in game as it's a birds eye view there is not so much to be awe inspired by but the game play is fun, if you remember to click the mouse exactly where you want to go instead of quite far ahead and accidentally running in to a swarm of enemies.
You gain extra powers as you go along and also have the ability to inspire you troops making them faster and stronger for a brief amount of time.

The game falls some where between all out action and strategy and it is a mixture that works, just remember you need to stop playing to wash your socks occasionally.
