The formula for MMORPGs that World of Warcraft has established has permeated the scene, to the point where it's overflowing and relatively stagnant. Very few MMORPGs have tried to mix it up, with many sharing a very similar combat system and gameplay loop as WoW. However, there are a few MMOs out there that try to mix up some part of it. Hero Plus has some heavy PvP elements.

The character creation process is one of the weaker points, unfortunately. You only have five characters to choose from that aren't customizable - three females and two males. Each one is proficient in three weapons and start with a basic version of each weapon. It's not made clear, but these characters act like races in other MMORPGs and not classes. However, you can't pick a class until level 10.

You'll notice in combat that this game has some pretty crazy attack animations. Your character will be doing crazy back flips and spins as they destroy their enemies. The game also really tries to sell the impact of the attacks by shaking the screen every time you hit them, which can get a little bit distracting.

You also get to own a guild at level 40. These are faction locked and you won't be able to join guilds that are associated with other factions.

All in all, Hero Plus is a pretty straightforward, traditional MMORPG that relies heavily on grinding. It's not the worst, but it's definitely not that special either.
